150 Students Sponsored (and Counting)!

We’re celebrating a major milestone in TeachBeyond’s Child Sponsorship Program: 150 students are now sponsored! Across 3 continents, these children are experiencing the life-changing hope of the gospel and receiving a quality, Christ-centered education because someone said yes to sponsoring them.

One of those students is Amara* who attends Elwa Sunrise School in Uganda. Coming from a Muslim background, she was initially quiet during the school’s evening devotions and times of fellowship. But recently, she joyfully told the school’s social worker: “I really want to talk to my father. I want to be a Christian. I enjoy praising and worshipping God here!” Because of her sponsor’s choice to invest in her, Amara is encountering the love of Christ in a personal way, and her testimony is already reaching her family and classmates. Many of her peers are also discovering the joy of worship and are sharing Jesus with others in their home and community.

We’re so thankful for how God is using this program to transform lives and open doors for the gospel to be shared in marginalized communities around the world. As we look ahead, we’re excited to see even more people and communities transformed through the Body of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit as this ministry continues to grow!
