Book Describes Christian Education to French Audience

Dany Hameau, director of ÉducaVie (TeachBeyond France), wanted a way to educate pastors and parents about Christian education. There has not been a book published in France on this topic in 20 years. With the help of several contributors who are well-known in the Christian education field in France, Dany published Un espoir pour l'école: l'education chrétienne, une offre alternative (A hope for schooling: Christian education, an alternative offer).

The contributors include Daniel Neuhaus, director of the Association of Christian Schools International for francophone countries, and Luc Bussiere, co-founder of the largest Christian school in France, Collège Daniel in Guebwiller, and founder/president of the Association des Etablissements Scolaires Protestantes Evangeliques Francophones (Association of French Evangelical Protestant Schools).

Some chapter titles are: Importance of a Biblical worldview, Christian Education in Church history, Biblical and theological foundations of Christian education, and Family – Church – School: Three Pillars of Education.

ÉducaVie is acting as a consultant to parents and pastors who are interested in starting a Christian school. Currently, Éducavie board member Tamera Peters is assisting a group of parents in the Paris area who would like to start a school. She has already helped to start or develop Christian schools in Geneva (Switzerland) and Kinshasa (Congo DRC).
