Day of Giving Summary

TeachBeyond’s 4th annual Day of Giving was a tremendous success! Nearly 100 TeachBeyond staff members contributed to the effort, and more than 300 donors came together to exceed the one-day fundraising goal. Praise God! These funds will help prepare, support, and equip over 3,000 missional educators in the coming year. 

One staff member shared this inspiring story: 

"Day of Giving took place on November 14. The following morning, I noticed a missed call on the Donor Services' line from the night before. Although no message was left, I felt prompted to return the call. What happened next moved me to tears. 

As I reviewed the donor’s history, I saw that her support dated back to 2000. When we spoke, she explained how she had initially ignored a call from a TeachBeyond member earlier in the day about the Day of Giving, thinking, ‘I’m too strapped to give right now.’ 

However, later that evening, she felt the Lord gently nudging her heart, reminding her, ‘You can’t outgive God.’ Overwhelmed by this conviction, she decided to call back and make a donation. She was choked up as she shared this, and I couldn’t help but follow suit. I wanted to share this beautiful story to encourage all of us to emulate the faith of this beautiful saint.”

Another donor shared, “it is our honour and giddy delight to give to the Lord via TeachBeyond. We look forward to this day and save for it! To God, be the glory!”
