Why $75 Matters: The Difference One Gift Can Make

The Life-Changing Impact of $75

It may not seem like much, but a $75 gift can make a world of difference to a learner on the margins.

Through TeachBeyond’s Each One Matters campaign, that gift goes toward the Global Impact Fund, which helps expand access to education in places where it’s still out of reach.

With 272 million school-aged children out of school (UNESCO, 2025), the need can feel overwhelming. But this campaign is built on the idea that each student matters, and each act of generosity does too.

Your Gift in Action

Over the past three years, donations to the Global Impact Fund have helped reach more than 21,000 new learners. On average, it costs about $75 a year to add a new learner. The Each One Matters campaign goal is to raise $75,000 to be able to give 1,000 more children access to education.

Donations to the Each One Matters campaign specifically support the TeachBeyond ministries serving the marginalized and displaced: Open Schools Worldwide, Beyond Borders and Sparrow Project. Your gift supports curriculum development, teacher training, program oversight, and the creation of new projects.

A gift of just $75 opens the door to a future filled with hope for one more learner.

A History of Excellent Stewardship

For more than 70 years, TeachBeyond has been responding to God’s call to serve where hope is needed most. Today, that looks like reaching the unreached through education. It’s a commitment that carries through to how TeachBeyond stewards its resources, using every dollar wisely and maximizing the impact for students and communities.

“As a member of the advisory council, I have been consistently impressed by TeachBeyond's exceptional professionalism in stewarding its financial resources,” said Michael Bowling, CEO of Trenton Systems and TeachBeyond donor. “Their disciplined approach to planning, rigorous execution, and commitment to transparent auditing reflect an organization that takes its mission and accountability seriously. TeachBeyond sets a high standard for operational integrity, ensuring that every dollar entrusted to them is managed wisely and aligned with their strategic vision.”

While the full cost of supporting a student is higher, your $75 combines with other funding sources to make that support possible. Most TeachBeyond teachers and tutors are volunteers, raising their own financial support. TeachBeyond creatively partners with local churches to find spaces for classrooms and provide additional funding to ensure all students can access education, regardless of their family’s income. During the Each One Matters campaign, several TeachBeyond donors have offered to match donations up to $37,500. Your gift of $75 will be doubled, meaning you will give not just one, but two more students the opportunity for life-changing education.

TeachBeyond is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is approved to issue tax-deductible receipts in both Canada and the USA. TeachBeyond values transparency and more detailed financial information can be found on the TeachBeyond website.

Who benefits from the Each One Matters Campaign?

Funds raised through the Each One Matters Campaign are specifically earmarked for the TeachBeyond projects and ministries that focus on reaching those on the margins. A gift of $75 reaches one more learner with transformational education, creating access to learning, equipping teachers, and offering new possibilities to families facing displacement and hardship.

Refugee families like *Mariam’s in Greece can access language classes; children like Anna in South Africa attain the literacy and numeracy skills they need to enroll in school; and teachers like Jessy in Zambia are equipped with professional training to transform entire communities.

We invite you to give today and help extend these opportunities to even more students. All gifts given before April 3rd will be matched, so your impact will be doubled. For more information, go to teachbeyond.org/each-one-matters.
