Kindergarten Teacher
Our school is located in a creative-access area, so we cannot share many details. In this urban community, we have a welcoming community of likeminded individuals dedicated to serving Him and our neighbors through our school.
Full-time teaching at our school would include teaching a class of kindergarten-age students for the duration of a school day (8:15-3:10) with 1-3 breaks throughout the day. A second teacher, and sometimes a third, with local language ability will also be present in the classroom. Teaching of subjects will mainly be the foreign teacher's responsibility, but partner teachers can assist with class management and some teaching, such as of special subjects like art or PE.
Our school uses American curriculum and has a class limit of 25 students for kindergarten. Duties would also include monitoring some recesses, coordinating field trips or special events, and attendance at staff and department meetings.
Teaching a full-day kindergarten class of students ages 5-7 material such as phonics, math, social studies, science, and a daily elective such as art. Curriculum and local partner teacher provided.
This area of the country is an ideal environment to study language and explore a frontier atmosphere, reaching the unreached for Him through daily teaching or extracurricular opportunities.
