Teaching Assistant

At Arbor, education is deeply personal. With approximately 120 students in grades K–6, our staff are able to truly invest in each child. As a teaching assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping ensure the day-to-day flow of the classroom runs smoothly. You will assist with instruction, support students during activities, and help create a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment.

You may also provide additional support to individual students, including those with behavioral, emotional, or learning needs. This can include one-on-one assistance and helping implement plans created by teachers and staff. You will also help with basic classroom tasks like organizing materials, preparing resources, and occasionally stepping in when a teacher is absent. Above all, this role is about serving wherever needed and reflecting the love of Christ to our students, families, and community.

• You are flexible, proactive, and willing to help wherever needed—including stepping into leadership when necessary
• You are able to support students with diverse behavioral, emotional, or learning needs with patience and care
• You enjoy building meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff
• You have experience working with children and are willing to pursue fluency in both English and Spanish to best serve our school community
